here is my card for the latest challenge for the sweet stop. it was a great sketch to follow!. the stamp is from the range, coloured with promarkers and double layered. random red and gold card and green bazzil card. glitter glue dots and a peel off greeting.

here is my card for this weeks sketch. i have used a stamped image sent by rain mac and my new promarkers. not sure what the papers are. i used stickles on the fur.

here are 2 cards i made with my friend.

the card the tree is made using angelica fibres and film. the stamp is from clarity stamps and i watched a demo of this at harrogate craft show and loved it. on another card posted today my friend used different colours on the twas the night stamp, also from clarity. this is my fave card of the lot.

the 2nd card uses a stamp i bought from a craft show in hull, the they were also at harrogate; little claire stamps. it was part of a set of 4 and i also bought a starter kit of promarkers and i'm now converted!

the pink elephant challenge, which this week was to follow a recipe ( which slightly altered as i didn't the right coloured green ribbon, so i made a fake ribbon- is that allowed?)

the one stop craft challenge, which this week was cute and cuddly.

I have used some papers that were in my collection, some gold shiny card, red brads, and a forever friends glittery sticker and greeting. i then use a gold card as my base.

moving along with the times challenge

this i a card i made for the moving along with the times challenge. this time it was a sketch, that i rotated through 90 degrees. there was also an optional theme of flower power. this card is for my niece who bought us a little ornament to remember our trip to see them. the card is from a christmas pack, i dry embossed this using fiskars texturising plates. the green card is coredinations. the brads are from paperchase. the stamp is from the daisy and dandelion range. i stamped it brown and clear embossed it. i then chalked red into the flower and heart and also used green chalk around the edge. the letters are some foam letters i think from papermania.

this card was made for a challenge but then my computer crashed and i now can't remeber the name of the blog! it is also for my friend as a new home card.

the gold card is from a set i bought for christmas. the brown papers are from claire curds papers. the flower i coloured brown to match. the pale card is packaging from daisy and dandelion. i hated making his card but wantedit to coordinate with their living room which is brown. it turns out i don't have much brown in my supplies- so it's on the shopping list for harrogate craft show!

here is a card i made for inspirational card sketches. sorry about the flash reflecting off the mirri board!

The backing paper is from DCWV's rose tinted christmas multistack. the mirri board came in a docrafts goody bag along with the pink card ( i wish i know what that was!). the red card is just some i had in. the greeting is a £1 stamp from the range stamped in silver and then glitter embossed. the gingerbread men were stamped by my husband for me in brown and then clear embossed and cut out. i then added some red glitter to their buttons.

sketch and stash was a sketch and rainbow lady's challenge was something beginning with S. the snowman and holly are a chip board embellishment and the papers are from all left overs from making another card. all the papers apart from the top one are from anita's classic christmas blue papers. the top one is from dcwv's the winter matstack. the blue glitter card is from some i had in.

friday sketchers challenge

here is my card for this weeks friday sketchers challenge. i love this stamp (daisy and dandelion, free with creativity magazine) and shouldn't be stamping but did it anyway (my shoulder regrets it now) and i love it! i coloured it in using watercolour pencil crayons, cut it out using my 1 sized circle cutter (need to do something about this) then i chalked the edges with red. the papers are from the daisy and dandelion christmas pack, as is the greeting. the gold card is just some i had in. the brads are from dovecraft

i have only just started using brads but now love them!

a spoonful of sugar and crafty place challenge

here is my card for this weeks a spoon ful of sugar challenge sketch and for craftyplace's christmas card not using red, green or gold!

i have used 2 papers from anita's classic christmas blue papers, and backed the smaller piece onto tranquil blue coredinations. i then cut out a white card circle and added a silver peel off tree. i then edged the circle in silver ink. i have added 3 peel off snowflakes at the side and added a paper elements greeting which coordinated with the snowflakes. and the typeface is very similar to the one on the papers.

Here is my card for this challenge. this is a blog i often go to when making a card coz the ideas are always great!

the paper and greeting are from daisy and dandelions christmas range. the ribbon has been recycled from an old card ( it went once around the card) the bow is from the same card, as is the topper. i hope this is ok. the layout is totally different from the original.

the question is, is it ok to send it to the same person that sent us the original?

the pink elephant challenge

here is card that i have made for the pink elephant challenge. this was quite difficult to make as i decided on the backing paper first without thinking about the rest, but wouldn't not use it. so lots of paper cutting later and here it is. the snowman is from a reduced chipboard set i bought in hobbycraft last year. the papers are all from DCWV's the winter matstack. the greeting came with daisy and dandelion christmas papers- i need to get some christmas greeting peel offs!

here is my card for this weeks challenge. the robin has been stamped in brown and the clear embossed. i then coloured it in using water colour pencils. the card it is on and the card the greeting is on is the back of previously received cards. the greeting stamp has been stamped in silver and then glitter embossed. the robin stamp is from the do crafts goody bag, ang the greeting was £1 from the range. the papers are from the daisy and dandelion christmas range and the brads are from dovecrafts.

forever friends challenge

i have made this card for my niece, who will be 3 in december. i have attemped to follow the sketch, but in my own way on a different shaped card.

the bear is a clear sticker stook onto card, the pink circle is from the back of a card given to me. the pink line is an off cut. the pinky brown flowery paper is from a forever friends paper pack (party time) and the dotty paper is from a card i received. i edged the paper in silver ink and the attached a forever friends peel off. the flowers are from somewhere!

here is a card i made for my cousin. she is 14 and find this age nearly as difficult as men! not sure where i got the decoupage from, i embossed the pattern usung my fiskars texture plates- which i love. the pearls are some i had in from let's make cards.

friday sketchers challenge

here is my entry into this weeks friday sketchers. i'm not alover of this coz i forgot to round the corners before i stuck them down. but anyway this is husbands anniversary card. bear is from papermania, wavy card- just had in, red dotty paper- daisy and dandelion xmas paper, pale card from bear's pack, ribbon from in a top, heart drawn and cut out and button from loose button draw!

simon says challenge

here is a card for my male cousin who will be turning 13. he is a liverpool fan, hence the colour scheme!

the red card is just some that i have lying around. the football paper is from the male forever friends paper pack. the black card was just lying around as was the wavy card. the main image is a papernations die cut decoupage. and i stamped happy birthday and cut it in half.

i have noticed that it is a bit wonky and will go and correct that now!

i really liked this sketch as it was simple but still effective.

sweet stop sketch saturday

here are 2 cards i made for this challenge. they are for 2 friends who helped me do the refreshments for our schools play. the papers are from claire curds big one, and the stamp is a 'magic' magnolia. the lilac card is some i have had in for ages, and the yellow paper is from do craft may goody bag. the card the pictures and sentiment are on are from packaging or an old birthday card. i dry embossed the sentiment, oh and coloured the images with watercolour pencil crayons. the colour schemes are from the girls dress from prom on friday. if it's good enough for fashion it's good enough for me!

here is my card for the MSE forum challenge

the paper is from a a pack a bought last year. the stamp is from a foam set i bought in poundland last year as well. the ribbon is from the same set as the paper but i can't remember the name. i do know that is is really anita's from the range but can't remember which brand. i stamped in silver and embossed with clear glitter. oh and used some siler card behind the image. next time i'll use black card i think.

parents anniversary card for friday sketchers part 2!

i have been on a role this week!!! trying to get to making christmas cards to stop the rush in december!

i have used a D&D download decoupage, the brown paper is from clare curds big one, the lilac flower paper is from D&D paper collection, the greeting came with the download. the diamentes are from papermania, the sequins and flowers are from lets make cards, ( which i have stopped getting but will miss this little things when they have gone!)

another lot of cards!

Here is a card for my friends 30th birthday (another age surprise!) the 3,0, and the greeting came from hobby craft, i cut the wavy circle using my purple cow circle cutter out of glitter card, i then dry embossed some silver card and put it all together. i neary stuck it onto a white card, but it didn't look right so made a black card to stick it on.

this i a card a made a while ago but forgot about it! it is D&D papers and stickers! i inked the edges of the paper and the greeting. i stuck the bear onto white card and then added the butterfly straight to the paper.

here is a card i have made for my bro and sis in law for their 11yr anniversary, i'm not that happy with it but it is made! the dimensions stickers cam from a do crafts goodie bag and i didn't really know what to do with them, so here you are. they are stuck onto black core dimensions that i sanded with a nail file, unfortunatly i stook it down wonky so used a bit if ribbon to hide it!

friday sketchers challenge

here is my card for the friday sketchers challenge. i had to deviate slightly for the design as i didn't have a small enough oval cutter so used a circle, and needed to add something to the outside corners, i hope that was ok. the stamp is a greeting farm one, coloured in using watercolour pencil crayons. i then used yellow core dimensions card that i tore along the edges, and placed that onto pink tissue paper. the greeting was one i just had in ( from somewhere!) i made the smaller flowers using a gem, a sequin and a die cut flower from lets make cards. i then added the larger flowers which are papermania.

lots of cards!

i have had a lovely weekend makng cards! the only problem was i was full of cold whilst i made them, i'm thankful no one can see me typing my blog because it's not a pretty picture! am going to put them on a few at at time coz i can't put them all in one blog.

Here is a card for our friend who has just moved to his first home, it is a flat but i struggled to find anything for that so used a stamp i alrerady had. i coloured it in using watercolour pencil crayons, and based it on a sketch from friday sketchers, that was a challenge ages ago. the new home is stamped with a papermania alphabet set and coloured in felt tip. the ribbon is from inside a top!

This is for my dad who is turning 60 (what do you mean you already knew?!) i bought the 60 from hobbycraft, and cut a circle using my purple cow cutter, the cut out some stars to finish the card off.

This card is for my Uncle, a sports fan, as you can see i have used an onion stamp from the males set, and i'm not sure where the paper is from- any ideas? i based it on a sketch from the pink elephant challenge blog. it's ok but i'd change it if i were to do it again!

MSE sketch challenge

here is my entry for the latest challenge on MSE.

I used core dimensions for the backing and tore it along the ruler, rather then cutting, some white glitter card, pink wavy card, 2 strips of yellow ribbon, and a 'special' image that i clear embossed twice- i think it makes the image look 'proffesional'. i then went off sketch and added the 6 which is stamped in pink and then embossed in glitter.

the card is for my niece who is going to be 6 surprisingly!

hi here is a card i made for this challenge. i really enjoyed making this card. the stamp is a D&D one as the greeting which i attempted to curve. the dotty paper is from claire curds big one pack. the flowers are from a pack i picked up at a craft fair. oh and i embossed both images using glitter powder.

house card

this is a card for sis in law, who has fully extended her house, well husband helped! didn't want to make a new home card so thought this black cat would be good. i bought it from a craft fair 10pish then added the diamentes, the backing paper is from the same stall in a little pack.

the first card is for the eldest cuz, who lives with her partner, daisy and dandelion stamp in gold and embossed, then on matching paper, a D&D daisy border stamped and embossed in gold.

the 2nd card is a papernations stamp done in silver, embossed the coloured in, black opaque ribbon behind some shiny pink corregated card. the HB stamped onto black card. the other cuz is a party animal!
