chocolate bouquet

here is a chocolate bouquet for sis is law- husband spent £15 on choc and £5 on wrappings. she is a chocoholic so fingers crossed!!!

mum's birthday card

well here is my mum's b day card. i bought the stamp from the range on tuesday to take my total to £25+ for my discount. i picked this stamp as i thought it was quite versatile. i stamped it in black and used clear embossing powder. in the pressie i stamped little flowers from the daisy and dandelion clear stamp range. i then coloured it in.
the pink glitter paper is the wrapping paper from a lush gift at christmas. i then dry embossed mum onto silver card- i think dry embossing looks best on metallic card.

going travelling card

this is a card for my bro in law and his girlfriend who are going travelling in 3 weeks. the card and backing are from Let's make cards back issues and we bought the trip letters with other travel type things to go with a plain scrapbook we bought them for when the come back. i think the pack cost 99p. expensive and with hindsight i could of printed them out myself but had no idea what to do for a card!

entry for 2 challenges!!

Hi here is card i made for 2 blog challenges. One of the challenges was chocolate and marshmallow, and the other was a sketch competition. i was struggling to think of a layout for the colour challenge so thought i'd combine the 2!
the papers are from the daisy and dandelion pack and that is a daisy and dandelion stamp and stamp greeting. the jewels are just some i had in from let's make cards.

Tuesday 7 April 2009

here is a card for my friend who also makes cards. the ribbon is from a top (the hanging bit) and the decoupage from a shop that was closing down so 12.5p- 2 per sheet.
so total cost 12.5+ 5p= 17.5p!

it is also for the MSE competition

here is a card for my father in law. he likes ties!

some cards from the daisy and dandelion range- well made by me but using the range! pickle or onion is decoupage and the other 2 are clear stickers. all the papers are from the same range. the silver ribbon is there because i cut the paper wonky!

card for my brother- i hate making male cards!!!

here are 2 cards from a set. quite expensive in hindsight but seemed a good idea at the time. £5 for 5 cards, but having read MSE and the 6p cards i now know i can make fabulous cards for a few pence!

getting the hang of ths now!

this card is for

my mother in law's partner, who we don't really know that well.
