welcome home card

i have made this card for my mum who is coming out of hospital tomorrow. i didn't make her a get well soon card, as i decided she would prefer a welcome home card. i have used another black peel off. i used glossy accents on the petals and in the flower centre i added a gem. i then added a heart to the centre of the heart of the vase. i then sprayed it with spray and shine.

i'd like to enter it into the following challenges

a spoonful of sugar- anything goes

non traditional christmas card

i adore this card!!! i bought the holographic paper from florida. i have been holding off using it but i was very brave today ad actually used it! i couldn't find a dp that went with the image, so i decided to pick out the colour of the bow and use that. i was following a sketch so i had to add a bar across the card and i decided to continue using the holographic card with chiffon ribbon over the top.

red and white christmas card

hi for this card my husband set me a challenge to use as many different techniques and craft 'things' as possible.i started using a percy and penelope stamp, and coloured it with promarkers. i coloured the snowed with a blue embossing pen. and used a new embossing powder, that puffs slightly when heated, it also has glitter in it. i then layered onto red card and used the same red card to back the 2 white embossed cards. they are embossed using a snowflake and then swiss dots. i then punched 3 snowflakes out of the same red card and placed a gem in the middle of each of them. i coloured a greeting peel off red, and then added some snowflakes to the main image using clear ink and the same embossing powder mentioned earlier. to finish the card is used crafters companion's spray and shine.

new baby card

Here is a card for some new parents. the stamped greeting is from a stall at the NEC, i can't remember which stall, bu the stamp came in something like a CD case. i have stamped it in lilac and layered onto lilac glittery gingham card, onto white card and then plain  lilac glittery card. i then die cut 2 butterflies from the same lilac card and added clear gems for the body. i even attempted to use silicone to make the top butterfly raised a little on the wings.
