Friends easel birthday card


Hi this is a card that i made for my friend. she is also a crafter so i really wanted to make sure she was impressed with the card, IYKWIM.
So i decided to make an easel card. i used nestabilities to make the scalloped circle and the inside layer ( my first time and I LOVE them!) a daisy and dandelion decoupage kit, 6 white card candies, that i coloured in using my promarkers, i embossed the card using swiss dots, and also did this on the bottom and scored 2 lines, and a chiffony lilac ribbon. i really like how this card turned out!

i would also like to enter it into the following challenges

Pile it on- Easel card
Scrappyfrog- pick 3 (die cuts, embossing and no colouring( was i ok to colour in the candies or not?)
one stitch at a time- anything goes
simpledoodles- inspire others
moving along with the times- easel card
totally gorjuss- texture
Pollycraft-anything goes


i also followed a sketch from do crafts but can't get on at the moment to link it on, i think it's because they are changing their website. but it was clare curds sketch.
